In my city there is only one flexography machine, which I had the opportunity to see working during a project that was carried out in that company. Unfortunately it was a machine rebuilt with parts that did not belong to it and I could not tell the model of it.
What I could see was the method with which it works, which is quite similar to offset printing machines that use rollers to ink, or run through the material.
I know that the calibration corresponds specifically to the machine to be operated, in addition to the material to be used, since without these specifications any movement outside the norm would be a loss of money for the company.
